Pierre Fabre has chosen Spain for Même's first international launch. The dermocosmetics brand will arrive in pharmacies and El Corte Inglés with products for oncology patients and people with sensitive skin.
Pierre Fabre will use Spain as the starting point for Même's international expansion. The dermocosmetics brand will arrive in Spanish pharmacies and El Corte Inglés in October. Its products are aimed at oncology patients and people with sensitive or reactive skin.
The Spanish launch includes 74 products in six categories. The range covers facial and body care, nail polish and makeup. It is designed for changes that can affect the skin, hair and nails.
Même is aimed at cancer patients, but its products are also intended for men. Men account for 47% of cancers diagnosed in Spain. They can experience the same side effects on the skin, hair and nails as women. The brand is therefore not limited to a women's beauty offer.
Safety is central to the range. The products are made with ingredients that are 98% natural in origin. They have been tested in hospitals with oncologists and patients. A line of sun protection products is expected to join the range soon.
The distribution plan gives the brand a national reach from the start. Pharmacies put the products close to healthcare advice. El Corte Inglés adds a major retail channel. Together, the two routes connect Même's medical positioning with everyday access to facial, body, nail and makeup products.
Pierre Fabre and Même are using the Spanish launch to pursue a broader commercial and therapeutic goal: creating an oncology cosmetics category. The group says it wants to lead that category and become a reference for oncology patients. It also wants to serve people with sensitive and reactive skin.
That goal will depend on whether the brand can turn its hospital testing and specialist focus into practical trust at the point of purchase. The strategy already has a clear shape: 74 products, pharmacy distribution, hospital testing, a strong natural-ingredient profile and a planned sun protection line. Spain is more than Même's first foreign market. It is the first real test of whether oncology cosmetics can become a distinct category instead of remaining a niche within conventional dermocosmetics.
