Raventós Codorníu has posted the strongest EBITDA in its history. Sales reached a new high despite volatile markets and record costs, while net profit is expected to rise 17%.

Raventós Codorníu has posted the strongest operating result in its history. The company closed the July 2025 to June 2026 financial year with EBITDA of 46 million euros, 5% above the previous year. Net profit is expected to rise 17%, reaching 14 million euros and setting another company record.

Gross sales reached 234 million euros, up 1% at constant exchange rates. Net revenue stood at 197 million euros, also 1% higher than in the previous financial year. The results came as global markets remained volatile and costs reached historic levels. EFE and Europa Press, citing figures from the company, both described the result as a record for the group.

Raventós Codorníu’s EBITDA margin reached 23%, marking a historical high for the group.

The comparison with the years before the pandemic is even stronger. Sales are now more than 20% higher than then. EBITDA has risen 77%. Net profit has moved from a loss of 11 million euros in 2018-19 to a projected gain of 14 million euros.

EBITDA has more than doubled since 2019-20. It has grown by 130% over six years.

Raventós Codorníu credits the progress to its focus on higher-value products, tighter financial management and sustainability. CEO Sergio Fuster said the figures show that this approach has helped the group lift sales to record levels while raising operating profitability again.

The record results come while Carlyle remains the majority shareholder and the group is still involved in a sale process, according to El Mundo. Sergio Fuster has also announced plans to divest non-core assets, while the company is looking at strategic acquisitions for further growth.

The company's financial profile also fits into a wider Spanish debate about how corporate performance is measured and rewarded. An earlier Ibex 35 pay analysis examined the growing role of variable pay in listed companies. For Raventós Codorníu, the clearest evidence comes from its six-year progress rather than from one annual increase.

The group sells more than 55 million bottles a year in more than 63 countries. Cava makes up 59% of its portfolio. Wine accounts for 39%. Non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages make up the remaining 2%.

Sales are split between Spain and international markets. Spain provides 57% of sales. International business accounts for 41%, while digital channels contribute the remaining 2%. The figures show that the company draws revenue from several routes, with no single one dominating completely.

El Periódico reported that the group sold 55 million bottles during the year, two million fewer than in 2024-25. Revenue rose despite the lower volume. That is consistent with the company's focus on higher-value products, although the reported figures do not separately show how much came from prices, product mix or currency effects.

Raventós Codorníu has restored profitability while moving beyond its pre-pandemic position. The record sales figure is only part of the story. Revenue rose, and EBITDA increased by 130% over six years. Based on the available figures, the group's focus on higher-value products has produced measurable gains and turned a former loss into a projected 14 million euro profit.
