The Principe Pio theater in Madrid once again became a magnet for the brightest representatives of Spain’s digital generation. On the evening of October 23, the third edition of the “GenZ Awards,” organized by media giant Mediaset, took place here. This event has long moved beyond just a gathering of bloggers and has evolved into a full-fledged social occasion, where every appearance on the red carpet is scrutinized down to the smallest detail. The evening’s hosts were Laura Escanes and Xuso Jones, while behind the scenes and near the entrance, reporters set the tone as they captured guests’ boldest and most original style choices on camera.
This year, the red carpet showcased incredible diversity and creativity, proving that the era of uniform evening gowns and tuxedos is truly over. Influencers from across the country had been preparing for weeks, working with designers and stylists to make sure their entrance would make a statement. From avant-garde to classic with a twist, the range of looks was so broad that it is bound to be discussed for a long time to come. It is here, at the intersection of fashion, art, and digital media, that new trends are born—trends that millions of followers will soon embrace.
Among dozens of guests, a few managed to stand out especially brightly. For instance, MagdaleniTA chose an elaborate hairstyle: her curly hair, partially bleached for a two-tone effect, was styled into two high buns with thin braids cascading down. Singer Mafalda Cardenal surprised the audience by wearing shoes reminiscent of ballet pointe shoes with heels, complete with satin ribbons wrapped around her ankles. She paired this unexpected accessory with a bold mini dress and a slightly undone bun, creating a look that balanced elegance and rebelliousness.
Writer Rebeca Stones also drew plenty of attention. She appeared in a delicate pink outfit adorned with sparkling bows, whose main highlight was an extremely high side slit. The slit’s futuristic cut, resembling a wing, gave the look boldness and originality. Jorge Cyrus showcased an ironic take on men’s fashion by wearing trousers with four belts at once: two at the waist and another two at the ankles. Meanwhile, Samanta Costantini played on contrasts by pairing a feminine satin dress and lace tights with chunky platform boots featuring numerous buckles. Completing this parade of bold choices was Berrueca, who opted for a lacquered green oversized trench coat. This eye-catching piece needed no extra accessories and instantly made her the star of the night.
All these examples clearly demonstrate how seriously content creators now approach their public image. The GenZ Awards has become not just a platform for presenting awards, but a true stage where everyone strives to showcase their individuality and creative potential. This reflects the professionalization of the industry, where image is an integral part of a personal brand.
