This Monday, October 6, La Misericordia arena in Zaragoza will host an event that draws both bullfighting fans and curious spectators. An unusual novillada without picadors will take place here, featuring three young participants from Aragón. The evening starts at 17:30, with bulls provided by the Bernardino Píriz livestock estate.
Among the participants is David Sejas from Huesca, who recently distinguished himself at the IV Bolsín Taurino GuadaTorea and had already made his mark in last year’s final among school students at this same arena. At that time, he managed to win a bull’s ear, a significant milestone in his career. His style, rooted in classical traditions, and his continuous growth make him a notable figure among young regional toreros.
Another participant is Miguel Remiro from Zaragoza. He has had a busy season: in September he achieved success at the Deza (Deza, Soria) arena, where he managed to win two ears and a tail. Miguel studies at ‘Mar de Nubes’ school and has shown not only persistence but also remarkable progress during this time. He also became a finalist in a local competition, earning him the right to appear in the arena on this day.
The third contender is Ángel Alarcón, who is connected to a well-known cattle-breeding family from Pastriz. In recent months, his name has been increasingly mentioned among promising students at regional schools. All three participants earned their places in this lineup through their own achievements, and for each, this evening could be a turning point — as the Zaragoza audience closely follows new faces in the world of bullfighting.
Tickets for the event are available through the official Bacantix service. Prices vary: the most affordable seats in the upper rows cost 7 euros plus a service fee, while the best spots in the stands go up to 36 euros. For many spectators, this is a chance to see which of the young toreros will make a name for themselves across Spain.
