Madrid Opens Spain’s First Children’s Real Estate Platform

Gilmar launches a unique project for children at Micropolix Madrid

An innovative educational project for children has launched in Madrid, introducing kids to the real estate profession. The space is designed to develop teamwork skills and help children understand the value of home.

A new educational format for children

An unusual educational center has opened in the Spanish capital region, where children can experience what it’s like to be real estate professionals. The company Gilmar has launched the country’s first children’s real estate platform, combining elements of play and learning. The project is based in the Micropolix theme park, located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, north of Madrid.

Features of the space and a playful approach

The interior of the office is fully adapted to children’s needs: furniture is scaled down, and the floors are designed to look like a giant board game reminiscent of the famous tabletop game. This solution is the result of collaboration between Gilmar and the makers of Monopoly. Here, children take center stage, immersing themselves in an environment where learning and entertainment go hand in hand.

Learning through play

On opening day, the venue was filled with children aged 4 to 12, who tried on corporate accessories and clothing. They were given tasks, analyzed floor plans, and participated in role-playing scenarios related to finding homes for families. In the process, the kids learned how to listen, work as a team, and make decisions. For their active participation, they were awarded in-game currency, Eurix, underscoring the importance of the new skills they acquired.

Inspiration and symbolism of the event

As part of the event, a sculpture by renowned artist Eladio de Mora (dEmo) was presented — a vivid orange bear symbolizing joy, hope, and the start of new projects. The artist noted that his work is dedicated to creating a warm and colorful environment for future generations.

Further development of the initiative

At the end, participants were awarded certificates confirming their first experience in the real estate sector. Now, the Gilmar children’s office will operate on a permanent basis, giving every child the opportunity to learn about the profession of an agent and gain new knowledge in a playful way. The project highlights the importance of family values, teamwork, and a thoughtful approach to choosing a home.
