Spain is the largest economic partner for Ecuador within the European Union. The two countries maintain significant trade relations based on the export and import of various goods.
Ecuador’s main exports to Spain include seafood, bananas, flowers, cosmetics, textiles, chocolate, and coffee. In turn, Spain exports paper, cars, chemical products, industrial equipment, electronics, and medical devices to Ecuador, as well as office supplies such as printers and cartridges.
Beyond trade, Spain is a key investor in Ecuador and is involved in numerous investment projects across different sectors of the country’s economy.
