Two Road Signs Causing the Most Common Mistakes in Driving Exams in Spain

Por qué los conductores confunden dos señales similares y cómo evitar multas

A driving school instructor explained why two road signs often lead to mistakes during exams and in real traffic. It is essential for drivers to know their exact meaning to avoid breaking the rules and getting fined.

The @almagro_autoescuela TikTok account, dedicated to driving education in Spain, reviewed two traffic signs that cause the most mistakes among driving school students. According to the instructor, these signs consistently rank among the most difficult to understand and often lead to wrong answers on exams.

The first sign prohibits entry to all motor vehicles. Although only a car and motorcycle are depicted, the restriction applies to all motor vehicles without exception — from passenger cars and motorcycles to buses and even special vehicles.

The second sign is similar to the first, but only a car is shown. In this case, the ban affects all motor vehicles except motorcycles, which are allowed to enter. This important distinction is often overlooked, leading to mistakes during exams and potentially resulting in fines in real life.

The expert emphasizes that understanding these nuances will help drivers avoid misunderstandings and traffic violations. Carefully studying the signs and their exact meaning is key to passing the exam and driving safely.
