H2O Shopping Center in Rivas Vaciamadrid is launching the summer season with a renovated outdoor lake and refreshed leisure spaces, while expanding its retail offer. The upgrades are intended to improve the visitor experience and strengthen the center’s role as a local destination.

H2O Shopping Center in Rivas Vaciamadrid is welcoming summer with the reopening of its signature outdoor lake, new retail brands and renovations to established stores. The updates aim to attract families and younger local residents looking to shop and spend time without leaving the municipality.

The final phase of exterior renovations is underway. Visitors can already enjoy newly landscaped gardens and the revitalized lake area, set to become a focal point for outdoor relaxation and social gatherings during the warmer months. Long recognized as a hallmark of H2O, the lake has been restored to create a more inviting, comfortable setting for open-air activities.

Lake Restoration

The lake’s return coincides with the start of summer, giving visitors a fresh place to unwind. Improvements to the outdoor spaces aim to improve the overall experience, particularly as open-air areas become more impressive in the heat. The new gardens complement the center’s retail and leisure offer, reinforcing H2O’s position as a community hub in Rivas Vaciamadrid.

New Retail Arrivals

June brings several new brands to H2O’s commercial offering. Hordikos Home, which specializes in home equipment and kitchen accessories, expands the selection of décor and household products. Encuentro Moda, a women’s fashion brand inspired by its Canary Islands roots, gives shoppers another option for contemporary styles.

Established retailers Oro Vivo and Parfois have also reopened after comprehensive renovations. Both stores have updated their interiors to reflect their latest brand concepts and create a more modern, engaging shopping experience. The center’s retail mix recently expanded with the opening of Bombon Boss, a café that has quickly found favor with local residents.

Leisure and Entertainment

Omagic Bowling is set to return in July with a larger, more modern venue on the ground floor. The revamped bowling alley will focus on entertainment for families and young people, bringing back one of H2O’s most popular leisure attractions in time for the summer holidays.

H2O Shopping Center is positioning itself as a destination where shopping and dining sit alongside entertainment, with outdoor spaces extending the offer. The improvements reflect a broader trend among Spanish shopping centers: adapting to changing consumer expectations through investment in experience-driven environments.
