On the straight of the legendary Mugello circuit, where the MotoGP round has just finished, Ducati unveiled its most exclusive collection in the brand’s history. To mark the company’s centenary, the Italians released the 'Collezione 100' series—ten motorcycles, each created in honor of key victories and iconic models. All units are strictly limited: 100 pieces of each version.
The anniversary presentation took place in the spirit of a major event: Ducati riders—including Marc Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia—took to the starting grid in special liveries reflecting the historic colors and design of the collection. Although the team did not secure any wins that weekend, it was an important symbolic moment for Ducati—the company was marking its century-long journey on home soil.
Each model in the 'Collezione 100' is more than just machinery; it’s a tribute to a specific era. The lineup opens with the Panigale V4 S 100, inspired by victory at the '200 Miglia di Imola' in 1972. Next comes the Panigale V2 S 100, its graphics reminiscent of Franco Uncini’s 1976 triumph. The Streetfighter V4 S 100 features black and gold livery, recalling the legendary 900 Sport Desmo Darmah from the late 1970s. The Monster 100 sports a tricolor scheme referencing the 2008 Monster S4RS, while the XDiavel V4 100 harks back to Ducati’s victory at Daytona nearly half a century ago.
The second half of the collection is no less symbolic: the Diavel V4 Rs 100 is inspired by the first road bike based on a sportbike—the 900 Replica; the Multistrada V4 RS 100 nods to the groundbreaking 500 SL Pantah; the Scrambler 100 pays homage to the original Scrambler; and the Hypermotard V2 SP 100 and DesertX 100 reference the Ducati 860, which won the 24 Hours of Montjuïc, and the 1980s Pantah Ice, respectively. Every motorcycle comes with a unique serial number, certificate of authenticity, and the option to purchase a branded helmet and jacket styled to match each model.
The collection has already caused a stir among fans and collectors. After its premiere in Mugello, the motorcycles will be showcased at World Ducati Week, then at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and later they will take their place in museums across Italy.
