Madrid opens largest free esoteric fair with 70 stands

Madrid's leisure scene is shifting—esotericism and unconventional practices are drawing curious crowds and changing city rhythms

A major esoteric fair has started in Madrid. Over 70 specialists offer consultations and workshops. The event influences the interests and habits of the city’s residents.

In March, Madrid once again found itself in the spotlight thanks to an event that is transforming the city’s leisure scene. The 36th Feria Esotérica de Madrid has opened in the capital, and it’s not just an exhibition—it’s a space where locals and visitors can explore new practices, get consultations, and discover the latest trends in spiritual development. For many Spaniards, such events are an opportunity to find answers to personal questions and uncover unique ways to take care of themselves and their loved ones.

The fair is being held in DEMO Halls 1 and 2 on the top floor of the Madrid-Chamartín Clara Campoamor station (Agustín de Foxá Street, 40). The organizers have focused on accessibility: entry is free, and some workshops and consultations are also complimentary. According to El confidencial, this year’s event features over 70 stands, offering everything from amulets and minerals to esoteric books and Tibetan bowls. This scale reflects the growing interest in alternative practices and the search for new leisure formats.

Workshops and master classes

For four days, visitors can attend lectures, seminars, and hands-on sessions on a variety of topics: astrology, meditation, energy work, palm reading, numerology, and aura photography. Special attention is given to relaxation and recovery techniques: on site, you can try crystal therapy, learn about the properties of healing plants, or take part in meditation and Reiki sessions. Some workshops have a token fee of about 3 euros, but many are free to attend.

Among the invited experts are renowned specialists in esotericism and alternative practices: José Domenech, Maribel Curciel, and Inga Angelorum. They hold open lectures and demonstrations, sharing their experience and answering questions from the audience. For those interested in personal development, individual consultations with tarot readers, mediums, and energy practice specialists are available.

Accessibility and organization

The organizers have made sure the fair is easy to reach: Madrid-Chamartín Clara Campoamor station is connected to the city by metro lines (L1 and L10), suburban trains (C1, C2, C3, C4, C7, C8, C10), and city buses. Parking is available for drivers on the station grounds. Due to reconstruction, it is recommended to use the south entrance from Agustín de Foxá street and take the escalator to the top floor, where DEMO Halls 1 and 2 are located.

The fair schedule is designed for maximum convenience: on Friday and Saturday the doors are open from 10:30 to 20:30, and on Sunday — until 19:00. This format allows even those working on weekdays to attend the event. According to El confidencial, Feria Esotérica de Madrid has, over the years, become one of the most prominent venues for discovering esotericism and alternative practices in the capital.

Trends and interests

In recent years, Madrid has increasingly become a hub for unusual fairs and festivals, transforming the city’s recreational life. For instance, new markets have recently opened in the capital where you can find unique items and handmade goods — read more in our article about Madrid’s unexpected markets. Such events reflect a growing interest in new leisure formats and the search for unconventional approaches to personal development.

Fairs dedicated to esotericism and spiritual practices are becoming increasingly popular not only among Madrid residents, but also with visitors to the city. In recent years, Spain has seen a rise in events related to alternative medicine, yoga, meditation, and energy practices. These events often take place in major cities and attract thousands of participants, indicating a shift in leisure and self-care priorities. In 2025, similar fairs were held in Barcelona and Valencia, where there was also strong interest in esoteric and holistic consultations and workshops.
