The Entrecanales dynasty, a regular feature in financial publications, is once again in the spotlight. This time, however, the reason is far more glamorous—a lavish wedding is on the horizon. Following the recent marriage of Lucía Entrecanales, another member of this influential clan, Luis Domecq Carrión, is preparing to walk down the aisle with his chosen one, Miriam Gonzalo González.
The couple has set their celebration for March 14, 2026, making it one of the most anticipated social events on the calendar. The ceremony promises to gather the crème de la crème of Spanish society and business circles—not surprising, given the groom’s family status. The vibrant city of Sevilla has been chosen as the venue, adding a distinctive Andalusian flair to the upcoming festivities.
The groom, Luis Domecq Carrión, is an extraordinary figure. Not only is he the heir to a prominent surname, but he is also an accomplished star in the world of polo. His father, Ignacio Domecq Urquijo, is regarded as Spain’s top player, and in 2022, Luis led the national team to victory at the World Championship in the USA. His family ties closely connect him to the upper echelons of Acciona: his aunt, María Carrión, is married to the company’s president, José Manuel Entrecanales.
However, the future groom’s interests extend beyond sports. After earning a degree in business management and working at the family company in Chicago, as well as at Bankinter, he co-founded the startup Easy Goil, which converts used cooking oil into biofuel. His fiancée, Miriam Gonzalo Gonzalez, whom he met during a summer holiday in the exclusive Sotogrande resort, is building a career in PR for a cosmetics brand and has experience as a model.
The wedding ceremony will take place at the Royal Parish Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Seville. After the official proceedings, guests will move to the Torrequemada hacienda—a stunning example of rural Baroque architecture built in 1708. Although the guest list remains confidential, prominent figures from the worlds of finance and aristocracy are expected to attend. Among them could be the groom’s cousin, Rosario Domecq. It is already known that the bridal gown will be designed by Sol Prado Lopez de Carrisosa, founder of the T.ba brand, a favorite among high society women.
