A large-scale outage in X triggered a wave of user complaints across several countries, including the US, UK, Spain, and Germany. According to Downdetector, about 10,000 people in the US alone reported issues. Users note that the main problem was viewing the message feed, as well as malfunctions in both the app and the website.
There were 4,700 reports in the UK, 1,200 in Spain, and about 1,000 in Germany. Problems accessing X are also reported in other countries, but the highest number of complaints came from the US. Downdetector statistics indicate that 46% of users experience errors loading the feed, 35% report app malfunctions, and another 12% encounter issues on the website.
The Downdetector service regularly monitors such incidents and collects data on outages affecting popular platforms. As TASS notes, the X situation has become one of the most notable cases recently in terms of the number of reports. In Spain, where digital services are widely used for work and communication, such disruptions can impact everyday interactions and business processes.
In the context of technological failures and their impact on daily life, it is worth remembering how unexpected circumstances can disrupt the usual order of things. For example, an earlier article covering María Jesús Montero’s move to Seville highlighted personal challenges and decisions that can affect the outcome of important events — more details on this can be found in the report on the PSOE candidate’s relocation.
