In October 2025, the third generation Audi Q3 will go on sale in the Spanish market. Orders for the standard version have been open since June, and as of August 28, pre-orders are available for the Q3 Sportback, which will be released in November. Both models are produced at plants in Gyor (Hungary) and Ingolstadt (Germany).
The new Q3 lineup includes petrol, diesel, and hybrid versions. The base models are equipped with 150-hp (110 kW) four-cylinder engines — a petrol option with mild hybrid (MHEV) technology and a front-wheel-drive diesel version. Both engines are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, ensuring efficient fuel consumption over long distances.
For those seeking more dynamic performance, Audi offers all-wheel-drive versions with 204 hp (150 kW) and 265 hp (195 kW). The latter features a two-liter petrol engine, quattro all-wheel drive, and 400 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful vehicles in its class.
Special attention is given to the hybrid variants. The Audi Q3 e-hybrid is powered by an 85 kW electric motor, with a total system output of 272 hp (200 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. The new battery, with a capacity of 25.7 kWh (19.7 kWh usable), nearly doubles the previous version, allowing the Q3 SUV to travel up to 119 km on electric power (WLTP cycle), and up to 118 km for the Q3 Sportback. Fast DC charging of up to 50 kW enables the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.
In Spain, prices for the new Audi Q3 start at €46,590 for the standard version and €48,490 for the Q3 Sportback. Hybrid models are available from €56,090 (Q3 SUV e-hybrid) and from €57,990 (Q3 Sportback e-hybrid). All hybrids come with a zero emissions DGT sticker and are eligible for a state subsidy of up to €7,000 under the Moves III program.
The exterior of the new Q3 has become more expressive and dynamic. The front end features optimized aerodynamics, and an adjustable air intake behind the Singleframe grille reduces airflow losses. For the first time in this segment, Audi is using digital Matrix LED headlights, which provide precise light distribution and minimize glare for oncoming drivers.
The Q3 Sportback stands out with a coupe-like roofline that is 29 mm lower than the standard SUV, giving the car a sportier character. Exclusive options for this version include 20-inch Audi Sport wheels, tinted windows, sport seats, and an extended comfort package with adaptive cruise control and advanced lighting technology.
Inside the updated Q3, storage space has been increased, and the new central console layout makes the interior feel more spacious. For the first time in Audi’s compact models, acoustic glass for the front windows is available, significantly reducing noise levels at high speeds.
Among the technological innovations are an advanced adaptive driving assistant and an intelligent parking system. The driver can teach the car up to five different parking maneuvers, which the Q3 then performs autonomously. The system also assists with safely reversing out of tight spaces.
Practicality remains one of the model’s main advantages. The luggage compartment holds 488 liters, increasing to 1,386 liters with the rear seats folded down (the Q3 Sportback offers up to 1,289 liters). The rear row can be slid forward and the backrest angle adjusted, while the maximum trailer towing weight reaches 2,100 kg.
