Toyota bZ4X 2026 Launches in Spain with New Features and Pricing

Toyota Electric Crossover: More Power, More Style, More Value

The Toyota bZ4X 2026 is gearing up for its debut in Spain. The updated model boasts increased range, enhanced equipment, and expanded options. Find out what makes the revamped electric SUV stand out.

Spain is counting down to the arrival of the updated Toyota bZ4X 2026—a fully electric SUV set to redefine modern electric vehicles. The Japanese automaker is focusing on advanced technology, reliability, and comfort to appeal to both experienced drivers and those just considering switching to electric. The first cars will appear on the country’s roads in December next year, with orders opening this summer.

This time, Toyota has gone beyond cosmetic changes. The company underwent an extensive upgrade of its first fully electric SUV, prioritizing increased range, more power, and expanded standard equipment. As a result, the bZ4X 2026 is now much more attractive to the European market, where expectations for electric vehicles rise every year.

Two trim levels

Buyers will have a choice of two versions: Advance and Spirit. Both feature a new 73.1 kWh battery that forms the basis for greater efficiency and range. A key advantage is improved resistance to low temperatures—especially important for Spain’s northern regions and winter travel.

Advance is the base trim level, designed for those who value a balance between price and features. It comes equipped with a 224 hp electric motor and front-wheel drive. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with intelligent adjustment, a power tailgate, seats upholstered in a mix of fabric and synthetic leather, and a multimedia system with a 14-inch display. For convenient charging, an 11 kW onboard charger is included.

Spirit is a more advanced version aimed at those seeking maximum comfort and performance. It features all-wheel drive and an increased power output of 343 hp. The package includes 20-inch wheels, a digital rearview mirror, an automatic parking system, front seats with heating, ventilation, and power adjustments with memory, heated rear seats, a panoramic roof, and a JBL audio system with nine speakers. For faster charging, it comes with a 22 kW onboard charger, and the exterior features a two-tone design.

Range and off-road capabilities

In terms of range, the Advance is capable of up to 569 km on the WLTP cycle, making it one of the class leaders. The Spirit version, thanks to its all-wheel drive system, delivers 468 km on a single charge. Additionally, the Spirit can tow a trailer weighing up to 1,500 kg, expanding its functionality for travel and outdoor activities.

For adventure seekers and off-road enthusiasts, the X-Mode driving mode offers settings for mud, snow, and challenging terrain. The low-speed traction control system, water fording capability up to 500 mm, and 360-degree camera view make the bZ4X Spirit an excellent choice for those unafraid of tough conditions.

Design and colors

The car’s exterior has also been updated. The Advance trim is available in five color options, including the new “Negro Cosmo” and “Azul Orión” shades. The Spirit version always comes in a two-tone finish, with a choice between “Blanco Perlado Iceberg,” “Rojo Emoción,” and “Gris Átomo.”

Inside, you’ll notice the attention to detail: high-quality materials, thoughtful ergonomics, and modern technology create a premium atmosphere. Special focus has been placed on sound insulation and ride comfort—Toyota engineers have refined the suspension and insulation to ensure a smooth drive, even on Spain’s varied road surfaces.

Prices and purchase terms

Pre-orders for the Toyota bZ4X 2026 are now open in Spain. The base Advance version is priced at €39,500. For those who prefer installments, the Toyota Easy Plus program is available: monthly payments are €300 over 48 months, with a final payment of €16,666.94. The price includes four years of warranty and maintenance, making this offer especially attractive for anyone who values predictable expenses.

Buyers can expect long-term support: the manufacturer guarantees at least 70% battery capacity retention for up to 1 million kilometers or 10 years of use. This approach highlights Toyota’s commitment to maintaining its reputation as a reliable brand, even in the era of electric vehicles.

In case you didn’t know, Toyota is one of the world’s largest car manufacturers, founded in Japan in 1937. The company is known for its innovations in hybrid and electric technologies, as well as the high quality and durability of its vehicles. The bZ4X model is the brand’s first fully electric SUV and marks a new chapter for Toyota in the European market. In Spain, the brand traditionally holds a leading position in sales among Japanese automakers.
