Brabus will build only 10 P 900 Rocket Edition pick-ups, each tailored to its owner. The example shown costs €711,718 and pairs a 900 CV V8 with a 280 km/h top speed.

Brabus plans to build just 10 P 900 Rocket Edition pick-ups; the pictured example costs €711,718. The company has no single official price for the model, since each vehicle is customised for its buyer.

Its performance is closer to a supercar than a conventional utility pick-up. The 900 CV V8 produces 662 kW (900 PS) at 6,200 rpm and takes the truck from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Top speed is limited to 280 km/h, though an optional limiter setting allows up to 300 km/h. The conversion retains permanent all-wheel lead and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The twin-turbo V8 has been enlarged to 4.5 litres, with displacement reported at approximately 4,407 cm³. Brabus quotes 1,250 Nm of maximum torque but limits it electronically to 1,050 Nm in the vehicle to protect the drivetrain. The engine package pairs forged internal components with revised turbochargers; it also includes changes to engine calibration and fuel-system hardware.

The conversion also substantially changes the G 63’s proportions. Its wheelbase is extended by about 50 cm, bringing overall length to 5.38 metres, nearly 69 cm more than a standard G-Class. The body is approximately 2.06 metres wide and 2.05 metres tall. Extensive carbon-fibre components feature across the widened body. The side panels are made from visible prepreg carbon, while the tailgate remains metal.

The load bed has a teak floor lining with Brabus lettering in red. Two sealed, lockable compartments sit behind the cabin bulkhead. Brabus fits 24-inch Monoblock II EVO «Platinum Edition» alloy wheels, with reported tyre sizes of 295/30 ZR 24 at the front and 355/25 ZR 24 at the rear. A stainless-steel exhaust has side outlets with valves. It can run in a quieter Coming Home mode or deliver the V8’s full sound.

Brabus Ride Control aluminium coil springs have been tuned for the altered dimensions, and the ride height is 45 mm lower than on the standard model. The driver can still adjust the damping through the mode selector.

The 10-unit limit gives the truck a collector-car positioning, a scarcity angle also seen elsewhere in the luxury market in this Lexus LC 500 Cabrio coverage. Each P 900 Rocket Edition also comes with a handmade Brabus Weekender travel bag made from the same materials as the cabin upholstery. The bag can be customised too.
