The main feature of the Sealion 05 is its impressive range. In the hybrid version, the car is equipped with a battery capacity of over 34 kWh, allowing it to travel up to 305 km on electric power alone. When combined with the gasoline engine, its total range reaches 2,105 km—a figure currently unattainable for most competitors in the segment.
According to BYD, the Sealion 05 has a fuel consumption of just 3.1 liters per 100 km. This is made possible by pairing an efficient 1.5-liter gasoline engine (99 hp) with a 163 hp electric motor. This combination ensures not only long range but also solid performance for a compact SUV.
Sealion 05 dimensions: length 4.62 m, width 1.86 m, wheelbase 2.77 m. Inside, there's a minimalist interior featuring an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central rotating display.
