The setup pairs a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors. A 1.4 kWh battery and an automatic gearbox complete the system, which delivers 155 horsepower. Tests in Ciudad Real put the new hybrid through real-world driving on different surfaces. The results go beyond lab conditions. Regenerative brakes and a fast-charging battery let the Sandero run in full electric mode for up to 80% of city driving. That means lower fuel bills and a quieter ride in town.
