Samsung Odyssey G60F Introduced as a Universal Monitor for Work and Gaming. Samsung has released a monitor suitable for a variety of tasks. The model features an IPS screen and supports modern standards. The device is designed for a broad range of users. Sales are expected in the coming months.

A new model for various scenarios

Samsung has introduced the Odyssey G60F monitor, positioned as a versatile solution for users working with diverse tasks. The device features a 27-inch IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). Screen brightness reaches 350 nits, providing comfortable visibility in any lighting conditions.

Gaming capabilities and console support

The monitor supports variable refresh rate and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies. The VRR range is from 48 to 350 Hz, and the gray-to-gray response time is 1 ms. This minimizes motion blur during fast-paced games. With HDMI 2.1 connectivity, the device can be used not only with PCs but also with modern gaming consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Support for 120 Hz, 4K, HDR, and VRR makes it suitable for demanding gamers.

Accurate colors and ergonomics

The Odyssey G60F delivers color accuracy with 99% sRGB coverage. The monitor uses flicker-free WLED backlighting, which reduces eye strain. Despite the HDR certification, there is no local dimming, which reflects a balanced approach to specifications rather than a focus on HDR content.

Design and connectivity

The chassis is designed with practicality in mind: slim bezels around the edges and a fully adjustable stand. Users can adjust the height by up to 120 mm, rotate the screen to a vertical position, as well as tilt and swivel it. A 100 mm VESA mount is provided, allowing the monitor to be wall-mounted or used with movable arms.

Interfaces and Price

Among the available ports are DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC support, HDMI 2.1, and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. All ports are located under the stand for convenient access. Power is supplied via an external adapter. The official price is $499, with international sales set to begin in the coming quarter.
