Ferrari HC25: a One-of-a-Kind V8 for 3 Million Euros. Ferrari has unveiled the HC25 — a unique car built as a one-off for a private client. The model features the brand's last V8 engine, producing 720 hp, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The price exceeds 3 million euros.
Ferrari has officially unveiled the HC25—an automobile that exists as a single unit and serves as a farewell tribute to the brand’s iconic V8. The premiere took place at the circuit in Austin during Ferrari Racing Days, where the public was shown not just a new model, but a collectible one-off, created as a bespoke commission.
The HC25 is based on the F8 Spider technical platform, but its design has been completely reworked under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. The body is finished in a matte Moonlight Grey shade with a striking black stripe that visually splits the car in two. Vertical side panels and concealed aluminum door handles emphasize exclusivity, while vertical LED daytime running lights give the appearance added dynamism.
The main feature is the engine. This is Ferrari's last naturally aspirated V8, mounted in the center and producing 720 hp at 7,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque. The power unit is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox, enabling acceleration to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h. Acceleration to 200 km/h takes 8.2 seconds.
The technical setup is enhanced with the eDiff3 electronic differential and Side Slip Control 6.1 system, while specific output reaches an impressive 185 hp per liter. The maximum revs—8,000 per minute. All this makes the HC25 not only a rarity but also a truly fast car.
The process of creating such cars takes more than two years. The customer is involved at every stage — from sketches to final assembly. Ferrari admits only the most loyal clients and world-class collectors to such projects. The price of the HC25 exceeds 3 million euros, but the final amount depends on the chosen materials and complexity of execution.
The HC25 is not just a farewell to the V8, but also a symbol of Ferrari's transition to a new era. The model bridges the brand’s past and future, hinting at further development of the lineup, which already features projects like the 12Cilindri and F80. For comparison, other manufacturers are also experimenting with technology and exclusivity: for example, the Chinese company BYD recently equipped a budget electric car with a premium LiDAR system, as discussed in the article about BYD Dolphin Surf's unexpected technological breakthrough.
The launch of the HC25 underscores Ferrari’s strategy: unique cars become not just collector’s items, but also profitable investments. Due to their one-off production, such vehicles only increase in value over time, and involving the client in the development process turns the purchase into a personal project.
