Residents in Tres Cantos can check their registration for the November 29 general election from October 12 through October 19, using the electoral roll closed on August 1, 2026. That cutoff determines which records they are being asked to verify.
The register can be checked in person through the Servicio de Atención al Ciudadano at the town hall or online through the municipal Sede Electrónica. Tres Cantos is connected to the IDA_CELEC system, allowing residents to verify their details in real time. The online INE service confirms identity through Cl@ve, including with an electronic DNI. Voters living in Spain can also see their polling station and voting location.
Residents can check their entry from October 12 through Monday, October 19, inclusive. The National Statistics Institute says claims to correct register information must be submitted during the same period. Its official notice does not set a separate deadline of noon on October 20.
The electorate for the November 29 general election totals 38,728,356 people: 35,958,711 residents of Spain and 2,769,645 Spanish citizens living abroad, information from the INE.
Campaign coverage has also examined housing policy. For local voters, the immediate task is checking that the register records their details correctly.
The register in force for the November 29 vote uses the electoral roll closed on August 1, 2026. It includes information received by the Electoral Census Office on registrations made up to and including July 30. It also reflects removals and changes received by that date.
Article 39.2 of Organic Law 5/1985 on the General Electoral Regime, or LOREG, keeps the lists available for consultation for eight days, from the sixth through the thirteenth day after the election is called. Residents can file a claim at Tres Cantos town hall or with a provincial delegation of the Electoral Census Office. They can also submit claims at the relevant consulate. The INE accepts claims through its electronic system from October 12 to 19, using Cl@ve and a current certificate of registration in the municipal padrón.
The INE plans to begin sending electoral cards with registration information on November 2, 2026. Provincial Electoral Census Office delegations can also answer questions about registration, polling stations, electoral cards and postal voting at 900 343 232.
Spanish citizens registered abroad can check their details at consular offices. Their registration in the consular register can be used to confirm the information.
