Google Gemini Shows Widespread Errors Without Official Outage Confirmation. Since the early morning of June 10, 2026, Google Gemini users have been reporting widespread errors and disruptions. There is no official outage status, but Google has launched an investigation. Updates are expected in the coming hours.

The Google Gemini service came into the spotlight on the morning of June 10, 2026, due to widespread complaints about errors and disruptions. Users in the US and the UK reported that the platform displays error messages and fails to respond to requests, although the official Gemini status page still indicates that “all systems are operational.”

The first widespread reports of issues appeared at around 6:11 a.m. Eastern Time (11:11 a.m. GMT), when Downdetector saw a sharp increase in reports: 480 from the US and 440 from the UK. Despite this, there has been no official outage announcement. However, the Google Workspace status dashboard has already recorded an incident related to Gemini, and company engineers are investigating. Google has promised to publish the next update by 6:30 a.m. Pacific Time.

The problems are not limited to one platform: malfunctions are being recorded in both the web version and the Gemini mobile app. According to Downdetector, 57% of complaints from the US concern the app, and another 36% the web interface. Users report error codes 1076 and 1099. The first is related to browser memory overload when working with a particular chat thread, while the second almost always indicates a server-side failure on Google's part. Many have tried switching devices and accounts, but this did not help—the problem persists regardless of the platform.

On social networks, including X, the number of complaints from dissatisfied users is increasing, as they encounter the same errors when trying to submit new requests. Gemini recommends trying to log out and log back in, or simply waiting until the server load decreases. A temporary workaround may be to re-enter the same request—sometimes this helps get a response, but stable service is not currently guaranteed.

Although the outage has not become global, the number of complaints remains high and shows no clear signs of decreasing. In the UK, reports have stabilized at around 450, while in the US, they dropped to 610 in the past half hour, but new outage reports keep coming in. Google has not yet provided any official explanation regarding the causes or timelines for resolving the issue.

For reference: Google Gemini is an artificial intelligence integrated into the Google ecosystem, designed to process users' text-based queries. The service is actively used for both personal and professional purposes. Widespread disruptions in such platforms can affect a broad range of users, especially if these services are used for work, study, or communication. According to open sources, Google regularly faces localized interruptions to its services, but such large-scale complaints about Gemini are being recorded for the first time in recent months.
