In June 2027, Spain will once again be part of Karol G’s world tour: the singer will perform three major concerts at the country’s largest stadiums. This was announced after her final show on the second weekend of Coachella, where the message “Nos vamos de tour” appeared on the stage screens. Just a few days later, organizers confirmed the details of the European leg of the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, connected with the album Tropicoqueta, released in June 2025.
Karol G’s first concert in Spain will take place on June 3, 2027, at the Olympic stadium Estadio Lluís Companys in Barcelona. The next stop is Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville on June 11. The tour’s Spanish leg will conclude on June 24 with a show in Madrid, this time at the Riyhad Metropolitano stadium instead of the usual Bernabéu.
Changes in Madrid
Earlier, in July 2024, Karol G held four sold-out concerts at Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. However, afterwards city authorities imposed a ban on concerts at this stadium, forcing organizers to look for a new venue for future events. Now, the final show of the tour in Spain will take place at Riyhad Metropolitano, marking a significant change for both fans and the artist herself.
Tour geography
The Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour will cover 39 stadiums in North and Latin America as well as in Europe. The tour kicks off on July 24, 2026, in Chicago at Soldier Field Stadium, home of the Chicago Bears. Spanish cities will be part of the European segment, once again drawing attention to major music events in the country.
Context and interest in the events
The introduction of new restrictions on holding concerts at the Bernabéu has already sparked discussion among organizers and fans. Questions about the availability of major venues for international artists are becoming increasingly relevant, especially amid rising demand for large-scale shows. Similar changes in infrastructure and event regulations have previously been discussed in other areas of sports: for example, in the UEFA Youth League final, Real Madrid also faced new conditions for organizing matches.
