He appears in videos playing guitar and performing songs he wrote, which he posted on Instagram and TikTok. Police say some lyrics ridiculed minority groups, and the 46-year-old was detained over alleged incitement to hatred. One song named in reports was titled “Panchito, repartidor.”
The man, who uses the name Paracetamol on Instagram, lives in Torrero, a Zaragoza neighbourhood where he records most of his videos. The Information Brigade of the Madrid Superior Police Headquarters spent months trying to identify him. Officers then travelled from Madrid to Zaragoza to question him. Police said the videos used humour or satire to convey alleged messages targeting immigrants and homosexual people. They also referred to people with illnesses and other vulnerable groups.
Investigators say his online content targeted immigrants and people with illnesses. Police also say he ridiculed homosexual people. El Mundo reported that an investigative report attributed to one video a threat wishing that a truck would kill former Equality Minister Irene Montero, along with derogatory language about her associates. El Periódico de Aragón reported that some followers viewed the songs as jokes about social reality. The case is separate from police monitoring of possible Blocus demonstrations in Zaragoza, covered in an earlier report.
The man exercised his right not to make a statement and was released provisionally. A criminal proceeding in Zaragoza is expected to bring him before a judge in January 2027. The allegations remain under investigation, and no conviction has been reported.
