Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric 2026 impresses Spain with aerodynamics and up to 1,156 hp

New Cayenne Coupé Electric: up to 669 km range, three versions, and launch in Spain

Porsche launches the Cayenne Coupé Electric 2026 on the Spanish market, featuring a striking flyline, a 113 kWh battery, and record-breaking aerodynamics. The model is available in three versions, including the Turbo, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

Porsche has officially introduced the new electric version, Cayenne Coupé Electric 2026, for the Spanish market—a model that not only expands the brand’s electric lineup, but also sets new standards in the premium SUV segment. The main focus is on aerodynamics, performance, and practicality, which is especially important for buyers in Spain, where demand for electric crossovers continues to grow.

Design and Aerodynamics

The coupe-styled Cayenne Electric features the characteristic sloping ‘flyline’ roof, inspired by the silhouette of the Porsche 911. This feature not only enhances the sporty appearance, but also directly impacts technical performance: the drag coefficient is reduced to 0.23 compared to 0.25 in the standard Cayenne Electric. As a result, the range increases to 669 km (WLTP)—one of the best figures among electric SUVs available in Spain.

A key role is played by the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system: active elements, including movable slats and an integrated rear spoiler, adjust the airflow according to the driving style. According to brand representatives, special attention has been paid to the rear of the body, where the adaptive spoiler is seamlessly integrated into the overall architecture.

Technical Specifications and Versions

All versions of the Cayenne Coupé Electric come with a 113 kWh battery, providing not only long range but also high power output. The base model delivers 408 hp (up to 442 hp with overboost and Launch Control), accelerating to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The mid-range Cayenne S Coupé Electric offers 544 hp (or 666 hp with overboost), while the top-end Turbo Coupé Electric reaches 857 hp in standard mode and up to 1,156 hp at peak, accelerating to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Top speed is limited to 260 km/h.

Standard equipment includes adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Higher-end versions are available with the Porsche Active Ride system and rear-wheel steering with an angle of up to 5 degrees, enhancing maneuverability in the city and stability on the highway.

Practicality and Interior

Despite a 24 mm lower seating position, the Cayenne Coupé Electric retains its practicality: length — 4,985 mm, width — 1,980 mm, height — 1,650 mm. The luggage compartment volume ranges from 534 to 1,347 liters, plus 90 liters in the front compartment. The rear seats can be configured as a two-seater or 2+1 setup. With a payload and towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons, the model is versatile for families and active drivers.

The cabin features the Porsche Driver Experience concept: a digital instrument panel, central display, and an additional screen for the passenger. An optional head-up display with augmented reality is available. A panoramic roof comes standard, and for sports enthusiasts there is a Lightweight Sport package with a carbon roof, 22-inch wheels, and lightweight trim, reducing the weight by 17.6 kg.

Charging and Equipment

An 800-volt electric architecture allows the Cayenne Coupé Electric to charge at up to 390 kW (up to 400 kW in ideal conditions). The standard onboard charger is rated at 11 kW, with a 22 kW option available. This is one of the fastest charging options among competitors in Spain.

Sales have already started: the base version starts at €112,359, the Cayenne S Coupé Electric at €134,316, and the top Turbo at €172,233. All configurations are available for order from official Porsche dealers in Spain.

Market Context and Competitors

The arrival of the Cayenne Coupé Electric 2026 intensifies competition in the premium electric SUV segment, which already includes models like the BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV. It’s important to note that Porsche is focusing not only on performance but also on practicality, which could attract a new audience in Spain. For comparison, BMW recently unveiled the updated Serie 7 with a range of up to 700 km, further highlighting the growing competition among premium electric vehicles — you can read more about this in the article on the new BMW Serie 7 2026 and its technologies for Spain.

Thus, the Cayenne Coupé Electric 2026 becomes one of the most notable premieres of the year for the Spanish market, offering a unique combination of design, power, and driving range. The model is aimed at those looking not only for status and performance but also genuine versatility in everyday use.
